Troop 191 is an established unit of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2008 we celebrated 30 years of continuous operation in Bethlehem Township New Jersey. Our troop is sponsored by the The Roman Catholic Church of Saint Ann in Hampton New Jersey. Thank you Father Michael and the staff at Saint Anns for their generosity and support.

During school months we meet at the Ethel Hoppock Middle School in Asbury New Jersey and during the summer we meet at the Bethlehem Township Community Center in Asbury New Jersey.

In over 30 years of scouting our troop has proudly produced 39 Eagle Scouts. You can see these fine scouts and men on the Eagles Nest page on the troop website.

Troop 191 is a boy run organization, which is one of the basic tenants of the Boy Scouts of America. This means that the troop operates through the elected leadership of its boys under the guidance of the Scoutmaster and other adult leaders. Our troop’s Scouting program generally is offered through the patrol method whereby boys are organized into patrols of 6 to 10 Scouts. According to the patrol method, the troop’s Outdoor Adventure activities are planned by the individual patrols and the patrols hike, eat and camp as a unit.
